Today Grandma Roy passed away surrounded by her family. She truly was an amazing women who has taught me so much in the 11yrs I have known her. I will never forget meeting her for the first time and being welcomed with a big hug! The many hours we use to talk on the phone and in person about gardening, canning, crafting, raising kids, and Jesus. I will never forget her teaching me how to make her pizza dough and sweet bread so Mike could have something similar to home when we lived in NJ or sending us back to NJ with loads of canned jelly and chex mix. The best memories are those memories of just spending time with her while watching my girls color in a coloring book and/or watching them run around in the backyard is something I will always cherish! Im so thankful Mike was able to make it to RI to be with her during her final days and know this is a difficult time for the family as they say their goodbyes to a wonderful amazing women. Thinking of you all back in RI, and know she is truly going to be missed.
