Today I am thinking about the phone calls I would get periodically from Stacy Braun that would start out, I was out mowing today and had an idea.... More times than not, these ideas were an exciting new way of looking at how we do church. I only wish we would have been able to enact more of these ideas while I was here. But who knows how these conversations will bear fruit in the future. One of my great joys in ministry is to see people wake up to see the church and their relationship with Christ in new ways, and to watch their faith deepen. My hope is that those of you who like Stacy, are willing to think in new ways, will never stop. The Church needs these voices to grow beyond what we have always done.
