Today I announced the winners for the 24 HOURS Animation Contest for students and made an error, The short of it is that Team Pagopa tied for first place with Team Rocket for the CSULB teams. Somehow Pagopa was left off my list, (I think it was due to the tie and my crazy schedule to wrap up the scores/prizes with enough time to announce). I apologize to team Pagoda for missing this and I would like to personally congratulate them on their win. They deserved a proper announcement today and I will find a way to get them some deserving prizes. To all of the CSULB 24 HOURS participants, taking on this challenge is an incredibly difficult task and I commend you all for stepping up to the plate. Making a 30 second film in 24 hours really is unheard of and the fact that you all handed something in and worked straight through the night in teams (with people you possible didnt even know) is an incredible feat. I am proud of you all! And a special shout out to the 24 HOURS first timers, what a brave group you are (especially those who are still in Intro classes). I hope you all feel great about doing the contest and and hope you come back next year in 2015!
