Today I had exercise at the Frankston community health centre, I - TopicsExpress

Today I had exercise at the Frankston community health centre, I have found alot of help there, Glasses that I could afford, under 100 dollars, Diabeties help education and foot care, eye care, diet care and like I said exercise. I have also recieved assistance with dental when I needed it. and they tested me for Sleep apnea, mental health they had a psycholgist who could talk to me. I must be honest I use it alot, mostly because I cannot afford the specialists even with the medicare refund, Ive waited for specialist for my sleep apnea and thank goodness they guy was nice and bulk billed me.. I am still on the waiting list for monash after a year and a half. good news I am not bad enough to qualify for a machine. So I have to grin and bare the fact that when I hit rem sleep I stop breathing. Ok Rant finished. Good things there and bad things, The waiting list i can blame on liberals after all we do have a liberal state government, But the programs for Mental health, Diabeties, even dental I can thank the Federal government which of course is Labor, Some people do not see how much help that actually is for society. Before the Mental health scheme I could not get to see a psychologist, I was on 300mg Zoloft under a shrink. I was confined to my house with agraphobia. and I had no idea that the reason I fainted was becasue of panic attacks. It was a community center in Werribee that was the first to help. but I still could not afford to see a psycologist not as a single mother, We moved alot 5 times in five years, some only 7moths apart twice. but over all that with help from the Federal goverment Ive left my home, I walk to the hospital now, I have a mental health nurse who helps me with my paperwork, Anxiety effects you in wierd ways, for me a form is massively scary.. but now I can do some myself. I am healing. thanks to the Labor Government. How about YOU?
