Today I had to say an abrupt and final goodbye to my sugar Magnolia. After 5 beautiful, adventurous years together she made her final exit lying in my lap and surrounded by love. Shes been by my side through everything, never judging, always loving. I will miss her gentle nudges of affirmation, her scooting around, her jelly roll nose, her velveteen ears, her snorts of disapproval, her snugs and her big golden amber eyes. I honor her life and her spirit. Until we meet again my love, you will be sorely missed. Rest gently.
