Today I rode a jet ski, bounced around on a tube with my niece, visited with a charming couple married 65 years, found 1 of 2 attempted geocaches by boat, caught 4 fish, jumped off the high ledge, toured Cullman with my silly brother-in-law, went to the Sweet Tater Festival (got the T-shirt!), ate chocolate cake celebrating Diana McBrides birthday a day early, told old stories, laughed a lot, watched some crazy dogs play in the water, made and drank fabulous mojitos, listened to my second cousins selection of 1940s jazz, did not get sun burned (!), and am now the last person to go to bed. Some days it is good just to be alive. Today is one of those days. May all who read this know such joy.....
