Today, I spent quality time with my family, being part of the Goodlettsville Christmas Parade with my youth football program families. My father unexpectedly waiting toward the end taking photos.... As you reflect looking up in the stands to see your father, I fought next to mine 100+ tournaments, World Police & Fire Games, including fighting in Japan.. You listen to your father tell you how great a athlete he was, I played football next to mine.. You played catch with your father, I conducted 500+ drug busts, buying dope off the corner and running them down and kicking in doors next to mine.... You rode around with your father spot lighting deer, I sat next to mine in a vehicle pursuit of a badguy who tried to run over an officer, catching him and tending to business.... You stop by your dads work on the weekend to see the machines he uses during the week, I conducted 100+ S.W.A.T. missions of barricades, hostage rescues, training ventures next to mine... Some will never understand what I wanted out of life as a young teenager...and how fortunate beyond my expectations to get much more.. My cup runneth over!! I always question my worthiness of such, guess thats why I always stay hungry! Extrajobthinktime =)
