Today I was in a shop, waiting to be served with a crazy DJ hanging off me, twisting his own head inside the back of my shirt, as usual. And the shop keeper (a man, so it impacted even more) commented on what a happy boy DJ is, and how obviously close to me he feels. And how thats a sign of me doing a good job. I thanked him for the compliment, but seriously, I could barely get my bulbous head out of that shop door! That simple moment made my day - no, my week!. As a 43yo grandma who suffers from chronic pain daily and feels a bit guilty that I cant be as active as Id like with DJ, its obvious to relative strangers that he still loves me and is happy. That warms my heart beyond words ❤️
