Today I was reminded that I am a coach... and that I have certain responsibilities... This means... Here are a few more things Coach Ash is no longer allowed to do. I am no longer allowed to post anything on Facebook that makes me laugh before I start typing. Drinking a gallon of blue food dye before the District required urinary analysis was also not cool. Same with Red food dye. Broccoli and boiled egg casserole and bean burritos are not allowed on road trips. Ever. The Athletic Trainer is not Doc Holliday, and he does not have two ice packs... one for each of ya. Even though there is a full back, it does not mean he has to stuff himself before a game. It is not fun to see who can get the most athletes to throw up in practice. Even if it is, it is not a good idea. Betting to see who the first person to throw up in a drill is not acceptable. Even if you did make him the full back. And all that entails. Parking behind the field goal posts during special teams practice because "It is safer there" is not an option. I am still not allowed to quote full metal jacket during practice. Even the situation calls for it.
