Today I was thrilled to share the SA Police Rememberance Day with 30+ NT Retired members and spouses. The ceremony was at Fort Largs (SA Police Training Centre) where a highlight was certainly a blues version of Amazing Grace. As a group we ventured to The Palais (conveniently located close to Fort Largs & across the road from where I live) for a lively lunch. Familiar faces included Dean & Pam Symons, Phil & Kay Clapin, John & Di Scott, along with our old mate, Jeff Woods (publican in Alice Springs), John Daulby (still as handsome as ever) and many others. Sadly, I must also report the passing of Peter Paloucci overnight. Fond memories of all those who are no longer with us & a toast to their memories. CHEERS dear friends.
