Today I went to a funeral of a good friend. However it was not sad so I will share this. Jim was Rocket Scientist...for real, he worked at TRW on satellites and other thing to complicated for me. His passion was U.C.L.A. sports.. All of them. He scored every game. The Rabbi said Jim like myself was an agnostic. He asked Jim one time if he stops rooting for his team when they were losing. Of course he said hell no I never quit on my team. So you in effect pray for your team?......Jim replied it was not prayer, but said it wouldnt hurt. His Grand Daughter wore Blue and Gold cheerleader uniforms and his wife Sheila wore a Blue and Gold dress. He did not give up. I will remember that when I need to.
