Today July 6th, 2013 is the birthday of a fallen soldier; founder and creator of EscapeMTL Matt Dutch Garner who would have been 31. There are no words that can really mend as we continually morn we cannot change the past. For a tight knit community our lives have been altered dramatically since November, 2011. Days, weeks, months have gone by and his presence is still with us at every event and in between. We had the privilege to be partners and friends with an extremely loyal person, caring and faithful person. Dutch loved to party while sipping on his Hennessey with a mad nose for his green. He was dedicated to his Blog and knew how to make sh*t happen. Let us never forget that a good time was had by all when Dutch was around to make us laugh!! Cheers to you homey. We raise a glass to you on this day to celebrate your memory and honor all your many accomplishes in the small Mtl Hip Hop community. A special mention goes out to his family and those who knew him best. Dutch may be gone, but he will never be forgotten!! RIP my friend. EscapeMTL
