Both conclusions are used as further justification for importance of anti-terror policies. December: Snap election is called in wake of Canadas new anti-terror security paradigm. January/February: Trudeau is bashed by Conservative attack ads labeling him boyish and naive and unfit to lead Canada at a time of crisis; Mulcair is lampooned as out-of-touch, idealistic, and foolishly optimistic for criticizing Harper at a time of crisis; Harper wins another term, I move to Antarctica, dig a big hole, and succumb to frostbite in desperate attempt to prove to myself that this is all a shitty dream.
