Today, Sunday the 15th of September, marks the 12th anniversary of Newcastle’s historic win against Manchester United. Exactly 12 years ago today, Newcastle manager Sir Bobby Robson was preparing for his 100th match in charge of the magpies. Both teams had faces in their lineups that many football fans will remember today. Newcastle boasted a striking partnership of Alan Shearer and Craig Bellamy, whilst United fielded Andy Cole and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
