Today has been a day where I cried at lunch (in a restaurant) about things weighing on my heart, and the waitress handed me a real tissue. It was really kind, because you really dont want to blow your snot into a cloth napkin, you know? And now I just saw Wild, (which is NOT the book, but if you read the book and loved the book, you will still love the movie...but it aint the book). Anyway, the movie makes your nerves all jangly and it makes you feel a little raw and nervous. And I am feeling all this overwhelm when I hear my older two girls singing Blank Space by Taylor Swift to each other in their bunk beds, and then I hear the 4 year old singing Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer in her room, over and over. It is a cacophony of beautiful noise and you cannot help but smile. Arent kids great?
