Today has been a relatively good day for Trystan ! He dressed in his new Fireman suit and happily got creamed up on his Port ready for access and off me and all the boys trotted for Launceston . He was happy his girlfriend Tash was there, she really makes a difference ! He happily went and got accessed thanks to no green sticks ...clear Chlorhex from now on in ..... No dramas whatsoever , he even happily laid back without me having to physically hold him down like I usually have to and watched the whole procedure . Even the needle going into the port and the blood being drawn into the bottle . Even I draw the line at watching that happen ! Everything went very smoothly . A great nurse today As usual ! A job well done. Thank You ! We left the hospital on a mission to Maccas! The boys were hungry and so was Trystan ... Sadly once again , it sounded good but Trystan only ate three chips dipped into his Frozen coke ....the burger still sits here untouched because it doesnt smell right ! ... These are the hated parts of Chemo , it is that instant..... And its very sad ..... But he is happy, well mostly , he just had a huge hissy fit.... Guess quite a few of them will come over the coming fortnight . Good news is we came home to the news our Family has won a Family pass to The Devils@Cradle Park.... So very exciting as we were only yesterday looking at The Discovery Park - Cradle Mountain to see about a Cabin for a weekend in the near future . Big thanks to both those places for combing themselves in this competition and to the lady Rosie Appleton for passing in her winning pass to a someone with a Family ! Just so happens our name was pulled ! All the kids are very happy and looking forward to a weekend up the bush seeing the Beauty of Tasmania and its local Fauna ! A great ending to a day that no Family actually looks forward to :)
