Today in my history class, I showed the students films of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X (not the Spike Lee film, the real Malcolm & Martin). In the discussion that followed, we agreed that there is an absence of such sincere leaders or any real agenda today. They asked what they could do in the absence of such things. I replied, "When Christians want to know what Jesus said, they read the Bible. When Muslims want to learn about Prophet Muhammad, they read the Koran. If you want to know what these and other great leaders had to say, read their books, apply it to today, teach it to your friends, act upon it, and move forward."
