Today is Puppy Mill Awareness Day, which aims to shed light on animals who are kept in inhumane conditions for the purpose of breeding so millers are able to sell their puppies to distributors such as pet stores, which in turn make a massive profit selling the puppies to unsuspecting people. Please think before buying the puppy in the window/ online because, no matter what the store assures you, your purchase funds a cruel industry. Instead, opt to adopt a shelter pet! You will be saving two lives-your adopted family member and the life of the animal who took his or her place. Let alone, you will also be taking a stand against puppy mills!!
