Today is a much need, and much overdue #ThankYouThursday here at the #TeamZomo warehouse. We have a slew of thank-yous to dish out, and cant wait to shout our appreciation to the world, but first, we would like to share something with you. We are not a cross-posting site, nor are we a traditional rescue. We have no affiliation with the dog below. But every once in a while, a picture comes across our pages that we learn so much from. So our first thank-you today goes out to whatever rescue saved Sugar (confirmed). As we look into her sweet eyes and tired body, we are reminded that there is no room in this world for ignorant arguments against our beloved breed, The American Pit Bull Terrier, and every variation of it. There is no argument - We refuse to find an ounce of logic in your generalized comments and conclusions. This angel was nearly bred to death, most likely with the intentions of creating monsters - creating guard dogs - creating income. What other being, on this entire planet, would society subject to this level of cruelty and expect them to not carry scars from their past? Do we hold the human race to that standard? Absolutely not. Self-defense and breaking points are real and tolerated in the human world. So as we challenge the false beliefs of millions, thanks in its entirety to irresponsible owners, the slanderous media who perpetuate lies, and the cowardly legislators who facilitate it all, we ask you to please remember this face and body. Instead of fearing a dog like Sugar, we should be praising her for her ability to endure such extreme cruelty and STILL be open to what life has to offer. We believe that she should be loved and praised every single day of her existence, whether that be with children, without children, with physical touch or just treats. She, along with thousands and thousands of others, DESERVE respect for the first time in their lives. And we think its about damn time to meet them at their level. So, please, remember the effects of our actions. Fight smart - Fight honest - Fight hard. #BarkNation #TeamZomo #EndTheMadness
