Today is my families 3rd annual All I Want for Christmas is a Cure Muscular Dystrophy banner making party at the American Legion Post 139 in Milton WV; everyone is welcome to come!! Bring your children, grandchildren, family, and friends and help us give back a little this Christmas Season. Today, we will all be making ornaments for some of our friends who are battling muscular dystrophies. We will all make our awareness banners to take home; decorate the Christmas tree, and deliver Christmas goodies to our Veterans Home. The Ronald McDonald House can NO longer accept homemade goodies, so we are collecting small gifts (under $20) and putting them under the tree at the American Legion until December 20th and then we will deliver the package on Christmas Eve. If you bring a gift to place under our tree, please consider both girls and boys, moms and dads. Some ideas: socks, toys, journals, envelopes, pens, stamps, house shoes, etc. We will be playing Christmas music and the children or you are welcome to sing for us :) Hope to see many of you there!! p.s. check out our Christmas Cure car door magnets....spreading the word to the streets!!
