Today is our son, Chris 27th Birthday. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was with my mom at her house on Cassidy Road. For two weeks I walked around doubled over in pain. Finally on the Fourth of July, 1987, my mom told me to get in the car, we was having a baby. We went to the hospital and it began...they took me up to the maternity ward and immediately took me back and got me prepped to so they could monitor my progress. I lay there from noon until around 6 and the doctor came and checked me. He said his head was in place and they were going to break my water. Well...they did....and they immediately took me into the delivery room. Once delivery started, they realized it wasnt his head that was in place it was his butt...plus he was sideways. For 30 minutes I went through such an emotional situation. All I could think about was my baby. Once he came out...all I could do was cry with joy...they put him in my arms and I held my little angel close. Yep....it seems like just yesterday. We love you Chris...and to mama...you will always be one of her babies.
