Today is the day my family and I have been waiting a year and 3 months for. We have finally been the grateful recipients of a pair of lungs for my Mum. I cannot thank the person whoever they are, enough for putting themselves on the organ donation register. My thoughts go out to the family and friends of the donor and we will all be eternally grateful for their gift. Registering for organ donation is a simple thing but can change the lives of so many people.
