Today is the last day of July and I cannot let this month close without my usual note of celebration and thankfulness for the miracle I received 10 years ago. Surviving a double brain anuerism is not only a miracle, but to have survived with no disabilities is more than anyone could have thought possible. I continue to be overwhelmed at the precious gift of life Ive been given -- seeing my children grow up, go to college, find the loves of their lives and being able to enjoy my precious two granddaughters, Lily and Millie. This has been an emotional anniversary month and those of you who are close to me know what I mean. Again, I want to take a moment to acknowledge all the angels that were in my life 10 years ago and brought me through the worst crisis of my life. Kelly, Jacquelyne, Faye, Dr. Boulos, Jeff - thank you for being there at the right place and the right time. So many others that I cannot list here, but you know who you are! You will always have a special place in my heart. Take a moment today and say thank you Lord for the gift of life, and be sure to tell those you care about how much they mean to you . . .every day. I have a saying that I celebrate my birthday EVERY day. I hope you will do the same! Praise God for all of our blessings.
