Today is the one year anniversary of moving into my very own home! What a year it has been. Heres a recap: 1. I cleaned out all the crap the previous owners left behind. ( it took me three weeks to do and a big thank you to my friend Red for all his help) 2. I removed the ceiling in the basement and all the platforms the previous owners had. 3. I added two outlets in the basement and updated all the wiring and switches in the basement. ( including three stitches on my finger from a wire-cutter-mishap) 4. I added an Ethernet outlet and wired it. (a big thank you to Brian and Red for all their help) 5. I replaced 10 windows with energy efficient windows. 6. I removed all the little trees and mulberry bushes growing around my house. 7. I removed some of the weird landscaping around my yard. ( I can mow more easily now and a big thank you to Red for all his help) 8. I repaired one of my toilets. 9. I removed carpet from two rooms and now have wonderful hardwood floors. 10. I painted my pink bedroom and made it a blue bedroom. 11. Installed a shower in my upstairs bathroom. 12. Updated the wiring from my breaker box to the Ogden Service line. I wonder what this next year will bring!
