Today marks 5 years since my Brother (in law) Todd left this earth for his heavenly home. My sister and I decided to celebrate his life doing something he loved. We got matching tattoos. I can just imagine he is smiling and probably laughing at us about now. I looked up the definition of Anchor before we got these tattoos. It has two meanings that stood out to me. 1) provide with a firm basis or foundation. 2) a person or thing that provides stability or confidence in an otherwise uncertain situation. My sister is both of these things and so much more. She is strong and steadfast. She provides me the foundation to stand on when I need it. And if I am ever uncertain, she is there to help guide me and reassure me. My sister, My Anchor. Love her to the moon and back forever!
