Today marks the 21st anniversary of my fathers death, Jerry Irby or as he was known professionally, Gerald E Irby. So many wonderful accolades and thoughts to attribute to my dad; kindness, intelligence, educator, civic leader, advocate for education in real estate, nuclear physicist, father, husband, son, deacon of church, real estate broker, pioneer of bundled services because he also had a property management company, insurance agency and built some houses, all while running his real estate agency and writing textbooks and speaking at various real estate offices, colleges and industry events. He inspired many, including me, which ultimately led to my career in the title industry. Miss you every day, daddy.
