Today marks the first anniversary of my mothers loss - I cant believe I made it one year without her - it wasnt easy because she was truly my best friend and there isnt a day that goes by that I dont miss her companionship in my life. Yes, it was one year ago I was visiting her and begged her to go the the ER that day since she wasnt feeling herself, but she insisted she was just tired - I went to walk the dogs and told her I would be back to spend the night to watch her and when I returned she was already gone. I dropped to my knees and prayed Mama come back over and over while the nurses tried to resuscitate her. She had been dead for over an hour but I kept praying to God to return her....and the miracle was she actually did return to me for another day and a half! All that happened one year ago today...She was truly one of a kind and such a special friend to me - I was very lucky to have her.
