Today, my math professor was talking about the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and asked if any of us had read the book. One of my classmates quickly responded... no, i dont read! Im too lazy and my professor responds, ahh, my friend, this is sad. Reading is something I like to do when I am feeling lazy. I do believe the problem with your generation is that you are illiterate. Now hear me when I say that you do know how to read, read the words in a book or of an article or even your math text book.... but you do not know how to READ. to enjoy the story being spoken through the material. You do not know how to read for leisures sake, and that, my friends, is a great tragedy all i could think in response to that... is woah. I am thankful I have a deeper appreciation for reading than my fellow classmate, & i encourage you all to find the same. Theres every kind of story to be read, books on every subject starting with the letters A-Z, try a few, try a lot... Take a few moments to learn about someone elses story (wether it be true or from the land of make-believe).
