Today, on Veterans Day, we honor our heroes who have fought for our rights, freedoms and have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Our service-members, veterans and their families have put our needs as a nation above their own and for that we are forever grateful. Not only as West Virginians, but as Americans, its important that we remain committed to ensuring that our veterans have the care, medical benefits, learning possibilities and job opportunities that they deserve. Though Veterans Day comes once a year as a day of remembrance and gratitude, its important that we not only honor our veterans today, but every day for we are forever indebted to their bravery.
