Today, on Veteran’s Day, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore salutes the valor and bravery of the only active soldier we have had the privilege of serving at our House. PV2 Christopher Cale Wooten, age 20, of the 1-50th Delta Company of the United States Army. Private Wooten was preparing to go to war when the war came to him in the form of Leukemia. He fought for his country and he fought for his life. While Cale lost the battle, he never gave up the fight. We will always remember his good nature, his love for his mother, his dedication to our country, and his incredible courage. Thank you for your service Pvt. Wooten, and thank you to all of the brave men and women of our armed forces.
