Today one of the most quoted verses in the Bible is “Judge not, that ye be not judged” Matthew 7:1. We who are believers should be very cautious to make sure we do not become self-righteous in attitude or actions toward others. Please remember that we are told that the believers should be able to judge what is morally right and wrong. “Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life” I Corinthians 6:3. We are bombarded with those on the outside of the church condemning the church for being judgmental but they are doing the same when they accuse us. We must be careful to exemplify the spirit of love and compassion in relationship to the lost and to each other. My prayer is Lord help me to be filled with compassion yet stand in truth and love against all wrong!
