Sometimes in our lives, we come across words such as before you give up, ask yourself why you we able to hold on for such a long time, we often read quotations telling us that failure is not permanent, but giving up when we fail is what makes failure to be permanent The fact of life is that there will be no road to success without a roadblock we call failure. No matter how inspired all of us are to become the most prosperous or successful people in our lives, we will one way or another face obstacles big enough to whisper into our ears to choose the path of giving up on our dreams. Road blocks on our road to success will always be poverty in our families, there will be people who will still laugh at you and say negative words such as keeping on dreaming when you tell them that you want to be successful. There will be people who will tell you that there is a short cut to success, while in real life there is no road to success worth taking that includes making short cuts. Road to success is painful, very long and harder to travel. There is one soldier who was bombed in a war zone in Afghanistan but miraculously survived, and after being in coma for a months and months, struggling to speak, and opening his eyesights and to even talk. Upon his recovery from coma and when the soldier was asked how he felt about the pain he suffered from the bombing, this is what he said Nothing in life that is worth anything comes easy. I am giving this example of a soldier with one simple powerful purpose in my mind, The secret to success is perseverance and hard work, there will be missles through at you. There will be naysayers who are negative, there will representatives of doom and gloom who will remind you to come back to the real world and stop being over ambitious. There will be friends and family members who will laugh at you and say you are just having a lot of time to play in you mind when you tell them about your dreams. Your parents will panic when you tell them that you are officially quiting your permanent job and start your own business. But the secret is to focus on your goals and forget the negative people, push yourself harder until you make it, and always remember this, If you are strike down by failure, wake up, dust yourself and continue with your journey. One day you will reach your final destination and be a successful person. Believe in your DREAMS AND LET NO FAILURE TO BE YOUR FINAL DESTINATION. James Matli is from Ga Dikgale, Limpopo Province.
