Today (this evening) MOVE OF THE DAY home edition is: wall sit - TopicsExpress

Today (this evening) MOVE OF THE DAY home edition is: wall sit exercise. This is a great exercise that you can do ANYWHERE without equipment that helps work your lower body. The wall sit exercise works your hamstrings, quadriceps, gluteus and adductors (inner thighs). And while starting the exercise, it feels like burning coal on your thighs, as time progresses and your able to hold this isometric pose longer you will be building endurance in your lower extremity. When trying this move start with holding it for 30 seconds. Once your able to hold this pose for a minute or longer and you feel comfortable adding weight, you can make this a multi-muscle workout. If you add dumbbells you can intensify this move, you can do bicep curls/wall sit, shoulder press/wall seat, and front and/or lateral shoulder raises/walk sit. This can be a versatile workout for a move thats isometric. I hope you can incorporate this into your home workouts. I hope your day was good, and that you are greeting everyone with a smile. God bless you!!
