Today was a seasonably cold, and mostly sunny day down at the farm. Winter’s a slow season, so there isnt much news. As I mentioned on Dec. 14th, the goats pull the hay from the top of the pasture feeder with the intent of eating it, but they end up stepping on in as well, and then it goes to waste. So, Chris devised a cover for the feeder that prevents this - which was fabricated by the staff and fitted to the feeder. Come and see the staff’s handiwork in the lower east pasture. And of course, the animals would love a visit.
