Today, we honor and remember those who have served, are serving, and the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom. This country, our country, was built on the shoulders of the fearless men and women who promised to hold the standards of democracy and freedom above all other forms of government. My prayer is that we remember all of the sacrifices our servicemen and women have made not only today, but everyday of the year.
