But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, DO THYSELF NO HARM, for we are all here. Most believers know its not Christ-Like to offend or hurt others, but all too often we overlook the damage and hurt we impose on ourselves. This prison guard had concluded that he had FAILED in his obligation to keep the prisoners in bondage, but little did he know, the whole situation was directed by God!! The earthquake that freed the Apostle Paul and Silas, also freed the other prisoners but they had not fled. The guard was about to commit suicide thinking that his FAILURE WAS PERMANENT, what a fatal mistake that would have been naturally and spiritually. Being the man of God that I am, I can take a honest look at my own areas that the Lord is always working on and dispensing both grace and victory towards, but just as important, with that transparency minister to others that FEEL THEY HAVE FAILED God, family, society, etc. and allowed their emotions to conclude they might as well HURT THEMSELVES!! CALL IT QUITS!! Its our responsibility as Ministers of the Gospel Message to let such people know that God still loves them and even in their despair and trials, He is able to turn things around for the good!! :-) Romans 8:28 I dont care what youve done or how bad ya did it ... the Holy Ghost is saying its not a permanent failure .... He will restore unto you the years that the locust have eaten ..... Dont Hurt Ya Self :-)
