Todays Scripture Verse: Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is Gods will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT) Todays Prayer: Father, of all the things you command me to do in your word, this might just be the hardest. How can I be thankful when theres too much month left at the end of the money, or the car breaks down just when I need it most, or the medical test results indicate that I have a serious illness, or Im just having one of those patented bad days? But then I read your word again, and I notice that it says to be thankful in all circumstances, not because of all circumstances. Your word also reminds me that I belong to Jesus, and because I belong to Jesus, you can and will bring something good out of every circumstance. Please help me be thankful for what you are doing in and through me in every circumstance in my life--both good and bad. Amen.
