Todays #TBT takes us back to Peru in 2008, where Jaime and I did some volunteer work for a week with my brother Sam in Pisco, a town virtually leveled by the magnitude 8.0 earthquake. We were hauling the heavy concrete mixing trailer around by hand, and it was quite difficult to manage. I had access to a stick welder, rebar, and some old wheelbarrow parts, so I whipped up a solution. With the tow dolly, moving the mixer went from a 2-3 person hassle to a one person easy job. Plus, it carried the water and the concrete tools! After we left, I learned it caught on with the locals, and was studied carefully for duplication. #thinkoutsidethebox #simplesolutionswork
