Todays realizations: 1) over-the-counter bank transactions are a major hassle, not because of the human factor on part of the tellers, but because of people who have no concept of falling in line. - old woman goes straight to teller, ignores electronic line. Because she is legally considered an elderly person the teller had to make a decision to be nice, rather than have bad PR happen. I dont blame the teller, I blame the elderly lady. I even overheard their transaction, nothing important, just checking her account. Pfaah. - rich guy comes in, again ignores line, goes to teller, apparently knows the whole bank, deposits 30,000 without using the electronic line. Again, teller cant possibly go up against a favored client. - people do not pay attention to the client line numbers being announced. Hello, I was #177, when #151 comes in and deamnds to be serviced before me. Thankfully, the teller says that she would take care of it - then took care of me first. I feel bad for #178, though. Ah, Pinoy culture fail. RESPECT THE LINE! 2) Bought some bubble wrap for a shipment to a gundam client of mine, Nick. Id have to say, Office Warehouse in Gateway is customer friendly. Even though the prices sometimes arent the best, I can honestly say Id rather pay for the good service they gave me while I was looking for packaging supplies. Still, to my fellow BPI customers: STOP JUMPING THE LINE. I know you hate it when others do it to you. So stop thinking its okay to do it since others do. That sort of thinking is EXACTLY one of the roots of crab mentality.
