Tomorrow I see the Endocrine surgeon. Im not looking forward to it. Ive been told its not a big deal but when you have terminal cancer everything is a big damn deal. Your mind starts playing out different scenarios. The first of which is the cancer spread. You do what youre not supposed to do and thats Google everything you can. Then you eat your emotions (mine was in the form of a slice of peanut butter pie - no judgment). Finally, you try like hell to fall asleep. Things have been OK for too long and Im fully expecting something to hear shitty news. I may not, but Im prepared for the worst. That is what having cancer does.
