Tomorrow will be the biggest day of my life so far. I will get the chance to do something I have wanted to do for most of my life and will cherish for the rest of it. I will put an X in the box that says Yes next to the question Should Scotland be an independent country? I long to see Scotland rejoin the world. Not because I think we are better than any other nation but because we are every bit as good as every other nation. We can hold our heads high in such company. I dont want us to punch above our weight or to be strong. I want us to be fair, more equal, just and caring instead. Those things have much more value to me. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I believe with ever fibre of my being that Scotland will say a resounding Yes. We no longer believe the lies and scaremongering from the anti-independence parties, its the boy who cried wolf. Nobody is listening to them any more. A particular highlight for me personally was when the UK defence minister claimed that an independent Scotland would be at risk from attacks from space.
