Tonight after dinner, the boys wanted to play Charades again, so we did a quick game of three challenges each - a Book, a Movie or a Television Show. We are still learning, so I keep thinking of little hints and hand signs to explain to them. We need practice, but its fun. Then Bean asked if we could have a Share Time, where each of us went to our room and brought back some treasure, and shared it with the rest of the family, explaining our favorite things about it, and where we found it, or what it meant to us. Bean shared a little miniature guitar he found in an antique shop, Ben shared his Nook and showed off the things it can do, and I shared a ceramic bowl that Ben made for me when he was six that I still keep my rings in. Then Ben and Bean both ran to get one more thing to share. Bean shared all about a truck that hes building out of paper and tape and wood and glue and cardboard and paint. Ben brought out a jar of marbles he got from his cousins and let us all hold some and pick out our favorite marbles. So the plan for tomorrow night is that we will try to Play Marbles. I need to look up how to do that. It was so much fun to spend most of the evening still around the dinner table hanging out and talking with my six and ten year old boys.
