Too many Christians today are not being taught the word of God, and neither are they taking the time to learn it themselves. We live in a fast pace society and we enjoy the lazy, “do what I feel like” life. There is a supernatural intimacy in drawing close to the Lord Jesus Christ daily. Sadly many Of us don’t experience His leading through His word, because we won’t give the quality and quantity time to draw near to Him. Our faith is weak as a result of it. We do not know which paths to walk on or how to avoid stumbling because we “go it alone” all in the name of “striving to do right.” Then we stumble our way through life and stand there scratching our heads wondering if God really does lead people providentially. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you” (Psalm 32:8)
