Took this big guy in over the weekend. Theres a long story that goes along with him, poor guy. As you can see, he has an enormous mass on the right side of his abdomen. We dont know what it is. I took him to the vet today and we all agree that it has to be removed. It is going to cost a fortune, but I will see it through. He deserves that. He is so uncomfortable. It is hard to look at. And it is actually much larger than the pics show - it goes way down underneath his tummy. Weve named him Zei (rhymes with Jay) and I will update as we learn more. We did send off some blood work on him today. Hoping it will look ok and we can do surgery next week. I apologize for the fundraisers Im kicking off this week. As many of you know, I dont often ask for help and try hard to make our adoption fees cover everything. But in cases like this, we do have to have a little extra help. Please dont unfriend me!
