Top 5 things we bet you don’t know about Trueblood 1. It didn’t start out as a cable series. Robert Trueblood was chairman of the Deloitte predecessor firm Touche Ross from 1963 to 1973. He received the AICPA’s highest honor, the Gold Medal Award for Distinguished Service to the Profession. 2. Now in its 49th year, over 60 accounting and auditing professionals and educators met recently at Deloitte University for the AAA/Deloitte Foundation Trueblood Seminars for Professors to discuss real-world case studies. 3. 50 cases used at prior seminars have been posted to the Deloitte Foundation site (link below) 4. More than 1,700 accounting faculty across the U.S. use these cases to enhance their curricula. 5. A lot of folks help with this program. Special thanks goes out to the Trueblood planning committee and Deloitte case discussion leaders Val Bitton, Bob Uhl, Dan Sunderland, and Kevin Monroe, as well as managers Erica Czajkowski and Christian Russell who were responsible for leading the development of cases used during the program. Pictured here on the left is Professor Lynn Dikolli, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Trueblood Committee Co-Chair and on the right is Erica Czajkowski, Audit Manager, Deloitte & Touche LLP. Erica was one of the team who developed/updated the cases for use and facilitated the seminars.
