Tragic news, yes and no. No - because less people will be able to afford killing themselves, animals and supporting structural violence through their purchasing the products of the agribusiness/pharmaceutical/medical/political profit-at-all-costs machine. Yes - because we are killing the planet and vegetation is soon to follow when the bees and all the divergent multiple species are killed off and the planet warms to a place where it supports less life and storms of historic proportion change the landscape forever. We grow GMO mono crops killing off all the other species who live on the 10,000 plants. We kill insects by the billion by making the soil toxic with round-up, a close cousin to Agent Orange.
