Trailrider volunteers wanted... I am planning on joining Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sport for the One Climb Fund raising on June 22nd. As some of you may know, I am a sit-skier, walk with crutches and part-time on wheelchair. The trailrider will be provided By B.C. Mobility Opportunity Society (BCMOS), operated by volunteers (sherpas) from BCMOS. WE NEED MORE SHERPAS! I am writing to recruit participants to join/assist us via BCMC trail to climb the Grouse Grind (not the long stairs). The more people the easier for trailrider to climb up ! This is a strong example of adaptive spirit and community inclusion. The only person with a disability climbed the Grouse Grind before was Sam Sullivan, on a trailrider with lots of community effort.
