Transitioning in the South! Well I got my Social Security name change done and the lady didnt know until I showed her my ID and then she was like OMG you look perfect! I did break their cherry for trans in Elizabeth City NC though and they had to research the rules. Fortunately I followed the post on Tammy World and it was a breeze. tammyworld2012.blogspot/p/identification.html I then went to Hardees for lunch and got hit on by two nasty old men. Ewww Followed by the NC DMV I need to wait 24 hours for the Social Security stuff to update so I will have my Drivers License on Monday at 10am. With all of this good news I headed to my Credit union and that went better than the prior two stops. The lady had never met a trans person before and was very curious and accepting, I made a great new friend there. I have heard so ,much negative about how small towns that it had held my transition up and now I find that it was not true at least in my case. Everyone other than a couple of my family members has been great about it. You never know until you try!
