Trout season finished in Ireland last night. So I hit the river at 7pm to get the last few wild browns in. I went out hoping id get a few. Never did I think that Id get my personal best of the season or my beat 2 fish. 21 trout all on dry fly. It rained a lot during the day and there was a lovely colour on the river, just perfect id say. Great way to sign off for my first season. My last fish of the season is being cooked for my wifes lunch today.
