:) True Human Compassion Hi Meagan, It was nice meeting you and I like what you said. Thanks for sharing some of your thoughts. I think we have a long way to go to get rid of ignorance, narrow self-interest, greed, nationalism, racism, bigotry, exploitation, violence, poverty, war, social stratification, etc. Im not into religion but I do think the tenet of do unto others as you would have them do unto you is the foundation of building a global community of kindness, peace, cooperation, abundance for all, and environmental health and sustainability. I cant see this ever happening without a focus on discipline, intelligence and life balance as well as moving away from our fake economy of consumption and profit, and into something along the lines of a true economic model like a resource-based economy. I dont mean to come across as preachy but as Einstein said We cant solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. You seem bright and still connected with your heart and this is the reason Im reaching out and trying to connect and share something that I see is of great importance for humanity. I hope that youll look into this and give it some of your time and thought. Thanks for letting me share some of my thoughts with you. Thought you might like to hear more about the concert of Sade and India Arie in 2001 at the NO Lakefront Arena. It was the Sept 1 performance on the Lovers Rock Tour and it was incredible. I was a big Sade fan and had never heard of India Arie. Well, India Arie was the opening act and her music and performance were passionate and powerful. Later that week I started listening to her debut album Acoustic Soul cd and have been listening to her ever since. That entire album is great. - C. Snyder
